Annual Girl's Trip - March 2009

Although we were missing a few family members, we had a great time again in San Diego for our annual trip! What can be better than vacation, shopping and eating with those you love???

So, my cousin Casey and I have started our own business (we're just about to hit the 1 year mark) adding bling to flip flops, hats, hair accessories and now clothing! It all started with the flip flops, but now we're creating custom clothing too! Visit our website at www.blingitonshop.com!

Stupid Hobby Racing Update

Jon has joined the racing family at PKRA and is doing pretty well, despite earning the family nickname of "Tornado" (passed down from my Uncle Tom) and finished 3rd at his last race! Makayla is doing great in her new HPV2 kart, and has posted two 5th place finishes in a row! We are proud of both of them! Check out their new website at www.stupidhobbyracing.com!

I know I'm a loser - I haven't updated our blog in MONTHS!!! Well, since Casey and I started our own business (www.blingitonshop.com) and I started working at the racetrack (PKRA.com) I haven't had a whole lot of time!!! I promise to add new pictures and updates shortly! GO CARDINALS!!!

Makayla's 11th Birthday!!!

First Day of School ~ 2008

Makayla is in the 6th grade this year, and Cole is in the 2nd grade! Can you believe it??? This is the first year that they are riding their bikes to school - very exciting!

Makayla at Bondurant...

Makayla got the chance to go to Bondurant Karting School recently and had a great time (and learned a lot)!

My kids are awesome!

I just wanted to brag about how great the kids did at the races Saturday night!!! Cole finished fourth, third and then second in his three races! Excellent job manuevering around out of control karts, Cole! I am so proud of you! Makayla qualified 5th (out of 11 karts) and finished 7th in the heat race. She ended up 5th in the main event! (That's a trophy position by the way.) I am so impressed with how well she is keeping up with those fast and crazy boys! Again the top 7 karts looked like a train going around the track stuck nose to tail. Way to go Makayla! The last race of the season is on May 24th! Come out and watch the kids - they'd love it!
