Race Update ~ September 29th!

Wow! What a great night of racing! We took a few hits, but didn't come out too bad! Makayla qualified third, WON the heat race, and was leading the main event until she was taken out by two other karts. But she got back on the track and raced her butt off and managed to finish 4th! Great job Makayla - we're so proud of you! Cole did a great job in both of his heat races (he is so good at the starts - he just motors by the other kids!). In the main event he started last (because he's still a rookie) and got to 1st after the first turn! But, he too was taken out by another kart in turn 3 and was in second to last place by the time he got going again. Just like his sister, he raced his little heart out and finished 4th!!! Awesome job Cole - keep up the good work! The next race is Sunday, October 14th - a day race! Come on out and support the team!
